As we’ve been telling you all year (and before) our climate and communities are under attack from Trump’s fossil fueled fascist regime, and especially his lawless secret police force known as ICE. .

It’s important to say: Even as we set the date for March 28 so people have time too plan big(ger) demonstrations in (even) more places, the work of toppling this fossil fueled fascist regime isn’t a one-day event – it’s the work we’re doing every day. It’s taking on the corporations supporting ICE and Trump, it’s speaking out against the pipelines and fossil fuel projects that literally power fascism, and supporting new and innovative ways to hold polluters and the powerful to account.
As I wrote at the end of 2025, the most important thing you can do for the climate is to overthrow this regime. And I’m so grateful to all of you who are stepping up, fighting where you can, and supporting organizers and folks on the frontlines.
On March 28, 2026 we’ll come together again to take morally grounded, nonviolent action in cities across the country. Mass actions like this remind the world that America does not belong to strongmen, greedy billionaires, or fossil fueled fascists. It belongs to the people. They also bring in huge new numbers of folks who’ve ever protested or taken action before. While it can be frustrating to wonder “where have you been,” we also badly need those new people if we are to be sucessful in toppling this regime.
